Church Online Tip #20 – Make Your Kids Service and Resources Easy to Find

Today’s Church Online Tip is this:

Make Your Kids Service and Resources Easy to Find

Watching a Worship Experience Online with small kids is not easy. I have a 7 and 9-year-old and for them to sit and watch a service for adults for an hour is difficult.

I’ve seen some churches provide resources for parents to not only entertain their kids during the service, but give them activities that pertain to worship and the message.

You might create a Parent Resource page on your website and load this page up with resources mid-week so that parents can go and download coloring sheets, activity pages, and other content for kids to interact with during the Worship Service.

I think you’ll still want to produce or provide unique kids or family experience in addition to this, but at least you can help parents connect the dots with their kids from the pastor’s message.

Make these resources for parents easy to find.

Set up a dedicated page on your website for parents = citychurch.com/parents  or /kidsresources something like that.

Also, make it easy for parents to find where your Kids Services are.

If you’re making special videos or using a curriculum from someone else, make that page easy to find on your website.

On your Homepage, or Livestream Page or Sunday Online page, make a clear button for Kids services.

Make it easy for parents during this time.
