The pandemic has had our whole population wearing masks to protect from the harmful virus. These physical masks we wear are not the only masks we wear. Many of us live our lives with a proverbial mask to cover up our pain, shame, guilt and insecurity. The good news of the gospel is that we do not have to pretend anymore; we can move beyond the masks and allow ourselves to be vulnerable with God and with others.
