Do You Believe?

The movie “Do You Believe?” opens today nationwide. They screened the movie in Nashville at NRB when I was there a few weeks ago. Honestly, I didn’t get a chance to see it. But PureFlix has a pretty good record of making some compelling films.

My friend Barry Stallings, a pastor from North Carolina, did catch the screening. Here is what he had to say about the film on his blog:

“While in Nashville our family was able to screen the new Christian movie “Do You Believe?”  I found it to be moving, awesome and the best soul winning tool I have ever seen on the big screen!  All the Christian movies I have seen have all been good but dealing with other issues that families face like marriages, family relationships and victorious faith.  Do You Believe deals with people who are not totally submitted to Christ the solid rock and are able to find Him through their trials and heartaches. I totally recommend this movie to all people, believers and unbelievers.  I encourage all who read this post to find it in your town, your area and go and see it!!  It will fire up the Christian while…I hope and pray would speaks to the hearts of the lost.”

We, as believers, must go to the theaters to support faith-based efforts like this.

If we pay for it, Hollywood will continue to make them. And the more faith-based films are made, the more Christians will have a say in the filmmaking process. Go see the movie. I am. You going?
